Movie Night: Pre-Crime

Tuesday, May 31, 2022, 19:00 – 21:00

Pre-Crime is about the collection of data from all sources, which is then evaluated and analyzed with the help of algorithms to create lists of tomorrow´s criminals. The documentary travels to Chicago, London, Paris, Berlin, Munich and other places to show predictive policing techniques in action. They investigate their opportunities and dangers and meet people who use them and those who have been victims of them. Who is – and who isn’t – protected by the algorithm? How much are we willing to abandon for the sake of security?
