Michelle Bruijn
Michelle Bruijn is working as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Groningen. She works at the department of Legal Methods and at the Research Center for Public Order and Security. She will defend her PhD dissertation on the ‘Alternative War on Drugs’ in May 2021. She specializes in empirical legal research methods, the regulation of cannabis, and tackling drug-related (organized) crime without bringing criminal law into play. She also works as a post-doc researcher on a research project about novel smoke-free policies and the tobacco endgame.
